This program will address practical challenges in breast imaging, offering strategies to enhance image interpretation and exploring emerging technologies that support personalized or precision imaging in both screening and diagnostic settings. The course will highlight advanced imaging modalities beyond traditional mammography, including supplemental screening with ultrasound, contrast-enhanced mammography, and abbreviated breast MRI, along with the growing role of artificial intelligence in breast imaging.
In addition, the program will cover practice management approaches, such as optimizing financial performance and implementing remote reading workflows. Daily case conferences will focus on techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy and overall breast imaging outcomes.
Learning Objectives
Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
Review methods to optimize mammographic screening, diagnosis, and uptake, including the imaging of special populations.
Discuss the data and optimization of supplemental screening with whole breast ultrasound, contrast-enhanced mammography, and abbreviated breast MRI.
Discuss advances in applications of deep learning and artificial intelligence in mammographic imaging and breast cancer risk assessment.
Improve image-guided breast biopsy skills and the management of high-risk lesions.
Discuss strategies to optimize financial outcomes coupled with improved clinical performance of breast imaging practices
