This four-and-a-half–day course provides an up-to-date review of the pathology of selected subspecialty areas of neoplastic disease, including genitourinary (GU), gastrointestinal (GI), and thoracic pathology. Lectures will incorporate the appropriate use of advanced diagnostic techniques — such as immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology — including the evaluation of therapeutic biomarkers.

Learning Objectives
- Label current classifications and diagnostic criteria for tumors and tumor-like lesions
- Highlight the appropriate use of ancillary diagnostic techniques
- Discuss differential diagnoses and understand the practical, problem- oriented approach
- Identify clinical pathological features of the various tumor entities
Target Audience
This course is designed for practicing pathologists in academic and private practice settings, as well as pathology residents and fellows interested in expanding their knowledge of neoplastic diseases.
