The ACS Comprehensive General Surgery Review Course serves as an intensive refresher for surgeons who would like to stay current on general surgery practices, even if their practice is specialized. It is a pragmatic review that covers essential content areas in general surgery, is designed to focus on practice issues, and may be helpful in preparing for examinations. Expert faculty use a combination of didactic and case-based formats to create an efficient review while enhancing understanding and retention. Other materials, such as pre- and posttests, also are used. Self-assessment credit will be available.
