The course covers key areas of musculoskeletal imaging, chest imaging, abdominal imaging, neuroradiology, breast imaging, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and advanced imaging techniques. Through practical cases and expert-led presentations, participants can strengthen their approach to imaging interpretation, differential diagnosis, protocol selection, and clinically relevant findings.
Target Audience
This educational program is intended for practicing radiologists, radiologic nurses, physician assistants, technologists, scientists, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals interested in current techniques and applications in diagnostic imaging.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Use contemporary imaging techniques and protocols to accurately diagnose, stage, and manage diseases.
- Explain the performance and processing of MRI, CT, and ultrasound studies designed to depict anatomy and pathology.
- Integrate current diagnostic imaging concepts into clinical practice and improve imaging interpretation skills.
- Develop appropriate differential diagnoses based on pertinent imaging and clinically relevant findings.
- Outline the fundamentals, clinical roles, and limitations of advanced MRI and CT techniques.
- Apply advanced techniques and protocol design in CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
- Describe essential imaging anatomy and protocols required for accurate disease diagnosis.
- Apply quality improvement strategies with a focus on efficiency, communication, and collaboration.
- Use contemporary breast imaging techniques and protocols to diagnose, stage, and manage disease.
- Assess current and future applications of advanced breast imaging technologies.
